MICHAEL LATIMER*: Born: Syracuse, New York. Admitted to bar, 1987, Texas. He is also admitted to practice before U.S. Court of
Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Court, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Preparatory education, Adirondack Community
College (A.A. 1979); State University of New York at Albany (B.A. Political Science, cum laude, 1983); legal education, St. Mary’s
University of San Antonio (J.D. 1987); University of Texas School of Law at Austin. Legislative Aide, New York State Senate, 1982.
Aide, New York State Attorney General, Consumer Fraud and Protection Bureau. Mr. Latimer is a member of the State Bar of Texas,
San Antonio Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Employment Lawyers Association and
the Christian Legal Society. He is a former Board Member of the U.S. Selective Service Commission.
From 1988 - 1996, Mr. Latimer was an Associate Staff Attorney with the firm of Nicholas & Barrera, P.C. From 1996 - 1997, he
operated the firm of The Law Offices of Michael Latimer in Boerne, Texas. From 1997-2011, he was a partner in the firm of Harkins,
Latimer, & Daul, P.C. He is the former City Prosecutor for the City of Grey Forest. Presently, he is the Municipal Judge for the City of
Grey Forest, the alternate Municipal Judge for the City of Helotes, and the former City Prosecutor for the City of Fair Oaks.
Primary Areas of Practice
Mr. Latimer’s primary areas of practice include Labor and Employment Law and Civil Rights Law; Title VII discrimination, Age
Discrimination in Employment and Wage and Hour Claims. He also handles criminal law cases and consumer law cases.Mr.
Latimer is a frequent speaker on Title VII law, worker’s compensation retaliation and Fair Labor Standards Act.
